This morning started with a bit of 'Risky Business' which resulted in Nathan acquiring a massive splinter in his foot :(
Luckily I was (just) brave enough to pull it out!
Even more lucky that the splinter was not in my foot...as some of you may know I am not a fan.
Nath is a trooper though! Especially with snow in the air outside, he was practically running out the door like it never happened!
Starbucks coffee and croissants in hand we journeyed to Central Park as the weather man predicted snow from 10-2 and we were EXCITED!
Central Park had already seen a fair bit of snow before we got there, and we found out the total for the day was almost 2inches!
Prepare yourself for many, many snow filled photos!
WE LOVE SNOW !
After running around in the freezing snow for a few hours we needed some food and fire, which are both conveniently, and beautifully located at the Loeb Boathouse. Table for two please!
Not a bad view for lunch with my love.
The lake is starting to 're'-freeze again...either way it looks so pretty with snow covered surroundings
My masterpiece as the sun went down...my feet were SO cold afterwards!
With a quick stop at Crate&Barrel (my new favourite shop for all things 'house' and christmas) to pick up some more decorations for our tree, we made it home before 9pm!
We've purchased our New York Passes and are planning to start the 'sightseeing' early tomorrow morning so hopefully we'll get a good nights sleep.
