CONFUCIUS SAY

After an early morning theatre run (which was very successful!)
We went to Pick-a-bagel for breakfast and it was extremely yummy...America is onto something with these bagels!
 Reflecting ;)
Earlier we secured tickets for tonight and tomorrow night (both only $35...I am going to miss these prices so much back in Australia) so with no 'lotterys' to attend we had a full day to enjoy.
We caught the subway downtown to Canal St and started walking and just enjoying New York when we wandered into Chinatown..and got very lost...
Confucius say: man who go through turnstile sideways is going to Bangkok.
Which reminded us, subways have turnstiles...and if we find a subway we won't be lost, hooray!
We caught the D from Chinatown to the Rockefeller Centre (it feels just like coming home now) and got some late lunch from Auntie Anne's Pretzels...Pretzel Dogs are our new favourite things! Its like a  big frankfurt wrapped up in pretzel dough, and with old fashioned lemonade, we were very satisfied.
After yet another shopping trip to Times Square we headed to "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder"
(Amy saw it yesterday and highly recommended we saw it too)
It was fantastic. Jefferson Mays played what felt like 20 different roles, as the entire D'Ysquith family..who are all murdered, which sounds quite grim, but its actually hilarious!
As the show started a little earlier than most we were out of the theatre in time for dinner. We went to Ellens Stardust Diner, where all the waiters sing to you. It was such a fun night!
'Slick' was our waiter and would take our order then be up on the seat top behind Nath belting out a broadway tune! We had a great time singing along with everybody else...it made ordering and eating a very slow process.
We were too much fun to leave so even though we didn't need it, we ordered dessert too.
No regrets though. 'The Best Brownie in New York' lived up to its name.
We didn't realise how late it was (time flies when you're having fun) until we got on the subway and realised it was already 'tomorrow' oops! So it was straight to bed for us.
It's warming up a little too which is nice, positive ºC is always a bonus :D

The food looks so good and for you to lose track of the time (the day!) like that it sounds like you're having an absolute ball!
